My Journey
I was born in Israel and grew up on a Kibbutz. After my Army service I moved to Milan Italy to work as a fashion model. I lived in Italy and Paris for four years before settling in New York City for 8 years, all the while working full time as a runway, advertising, and editorial fashion model. (You can see my modeling website here).
Years of living the fashion lifestyle lead me to adopt many unhealthy habits, toxic thinking, and dysfunctional coping mechanisms. In addition, I experienced four sudden tragic deaths in the span of four years. All of this culminated in a life threatening depression that lasted a
long time.
I tried many different healing modalities in an effort to restore health and balance in my life without resorting to medication. Having always been fiercely independent, the practices I found the most helpful were the ones that helped me learn to help myself. Specifically, mindfulness as taught by Thich Nhat Hanh, Ayurvedic body healing, Kundalini yoga, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and Emotional Freedom Technique, (EFT). I have completed both formal and informal teacher training programs in all these modalities.
Today I live free of depression, and find meaning and purpose in sharing what I have learned with others who are going through difficult patches on their journey.
I am the co-founder of the Transformation Collective, a healing arts community in San Francisco offering an average of four donation-based classes a week. I offer private EFT sessions daily, and teach Kundalini Yoga.
I choose to focus on offering EFT sessions because of all the healing modalities that I have experienced I find EFT offers the deepest, longest lasting transformation in the least amount of time. Also, with each EFT session, my clients are learning how to do EFT for themselves, thus meeting my needs to pass on a healing method that empowers my clients to help themselves. I am so inspired by what EFT has done for me and my clients that I am committed to teaching the world this simple and profound healing tool.
